All schools are invited to participate in a webinar at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, to learn more about the adjusted cohort graduation rate indicator in the Arkansas ESSA Plan. Dr. Denise Airola will present information about the 4-year and 5-year adjusted cohort graduation rate indicator in the ESSA School Index and how to read school reports. Questions may be submitted during the webinar or by posting questions to https://goo.gl/forms/tuPJGntUClJ00mNj1. Questions from the webinar will be developed into a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document that will be posted on the Arkansas Department of Education’s ESSA webpage. Additional webinars will be scheduled in the future to discuss more details about accountability.
Prior to the webinar on March 1, 2018, participants should review the draft school reports and the draft business rules for calculating the ESSA School Index.
Draft school reports containing information used in the ESSA School Index can be accessed at the ADE Accountability Reports Center (Triand login required) https://adedata.arkansas.gov/arc.
