The State Board of Education has released the following rules for public comment:

  • Rules Governing the Succeed Scholarship Program
  • Rules Governing Student Special Needs Funding
  • Rules Governing the Arkansas Teacher of the Year Program
  • Rules Governing College and Career Readiness Planning Programs
  • Rules Governing Consolidation and Annexation of School Districts
  • Rules Governing Federal Program Complaint Resolution
  • Rules Governing Parental Involvement Plans and Family and Community Engagement
  • Rules Governing Kindergarten through 12th Grade Immunization Requirements in Arkansas Public Schools
  • NEW-- Rules Governing Act 1240 Waivers
  • NEW-- Rules Governing Enrollment of Children of Military Families 
  • REPEAL-- Rules Governing Enrollment of Military Dependents
  • REPEAL-- Rules Governing Public School Student Services 

The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will hold a public comment hearing on these proposed rules on April 13, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. at the Arch Ford Education Building, Auditorium, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201. Participants may also call into the hearing at (605) 475-4071 using access code 637586.
