The Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation has released the following rules for a second public comment period:  

  • Appendix "A," Section 8000, to the CAPSAFT Rules Governing the Academic Facilities Partnership Program.

A public comment hearing will be held on April 13, 2020, at 1:30 in the Auditorium of the Arch Ford Education Building, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201.  You also may attend the hearing by phone at (605) 475-4071, access code 637586.  

 

Public comments may be emailed to ADE.RulesComments@arkansas.gov.  Public comments also may be mailed to:  Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Legal Services, Four Capitol Mall, Room 301A, Little Rock, AR  72201.  The proposed rules are attached to this memo, and also may be found online at http://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/divisions/legal/rules/pending.  

 

NOTE:  Please recognize that Section 8000 is only one section of the Arkansas Public School Academic Facility Manual.  Readers may wish to refer to other sections of the manual, including the introduction in Section 1000, to place Section 8000 in context.  Section 1000 also discusses how the facility manual is organized.  If you have any questions about how to review Section 8000 in context of the overall Manual, you may contact the DPSAFT at (501) 682-4261.  

 

Public comment on these proposed rules will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on April 20, 2020.
